R and G Hobby Shop & Speedway is a family owned bussiness. We are a hometown shop with friendly staff and we are ready to give a helping hand to anybody. The shop opened up in Aug. of 2006 by Roger Meekins & son Garrett Meekins.
We have a selection of RC cars, trucks, buggies, planes, ect. If you need a part you have come to the right place, if we dont have it we can order it and have it here in 2 days. We have access to Team Losi, Team Associated, Traxxas, HPI, Spektrum, Futaba, and many more.
We are open Mon.- Sat. 8:30am - 6:00pm. & 1:00pm - 6:00pm on Sun.  We have to two tracks, dirt and paved oval. We will have races on Sunday afternoon and/or Saturday Night. Feel free to come by and see us on the weekends, most of the time our local guys are out just doing some laps and having a good time between rounds of racing. You can also stop by during the week our track is open the same hours as the hobby shop. New outer wall has been added!
Sod has been placed in the infield area to protect cars, in the event of a spin out.
Lights have now been put in place and our first night race was on Saturday 8/18/07. (most races are now run on Saturday nights!)
Come out and see the action!!!
The oval track has a 210'  centerline, and 18 degree banking. It is a blast to race on!
The current classe that we are running are:
10th scale pancar
  • SPEC TRUCK CLASS
  • 21 turn trinity spec motors
  • "S" or "F" brushes (no timing cut into them)
  • no mods to the armature with the exeption of truing the commutators
  • must have bushings on both ends
  • no mods to the motor can in any way
  • Trinity 4 cell 1600 spec batteries
  • Johns BSR spec radial capped tires
  • Nascar truck body( rear of body may be cutout up to rear spoiler )

  • Spoiler must not be higher than 2" above the deck lid
